How do I reboot my antenna?

First, locate your power adapter for the antenna. It is a small, black, 2″ x 3″ rectangular box. Unplug the ethernet cable from the POE port for 10 seconds. Then plug the ethernet cable back into the POE port.

How do I reboot my router?

The router should be rebooted after the antenna is rebooted. Unplug the thin power plug from the back of the router and wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. Wait until all lights come back on and then you may use your devices.

How do I update my router’s firmware?

Open a web browser (ex. Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge) and type your router’s IP address into the address bar at the top of the page. It is usually 192.168.1.1 and log in to the router. It may do an automatic firmware check as it logs in, in which case you only need to click apply if it determines there is a new update available. If it does not automatically check, look through the menu items until you find firmware upgrade and check for update and apply the new update if found.

How do I determine if my router has gone bad?

Start by unplugging the ethernet cable from the back of the router and plug it into a laptop. Then check to see if you have internet. If you can get on the internet then most likely your router has a bad ethernet port. If not, check all cables one at a time by reseating them in their ports and making sure it is getting power. If you still aren’t able to connect, then you should call your internet provider.
